Can people suggest digital cameras that take good quality videos that have good sound quality?

My current camera makes a weird static sound when I record songs played by bands at gigs and the picture quality is bad as well. Anyone know of any good digital cameras that can handle loud bass and other sounds and also excellent picture quality in videos and a large LCD screen?

You'll struggle with this I think. Camera video's tend to be low quality and the sounds never going to be brilliant with built in microphones. If you want to do videos, you really would be better off investing in a video camera rather than another normal camera.
You'll need a prosumer-type video camera that has variable volume controls like the Panasonic DVX100, though audio at concerts is one of the most difficult places to capture it. If you can stay in one place for each concert I suggest running an XLR cable from the audio mixer's board to your prosumer video camera with an XLR jack and have him feed you Mic-level Mono audio. sony, cybershot, canon would do the trick. these companies make good quality cameras. just look for the right one.
my samsung d73 is really good with videos. it takes top quality videos with top sounds too. panasonic are also very good digital cameras.
