how long does a cheap hp laptop last?

i got this lappy about a month ago.. the thing is that its the lowest model and i move it alot, like i use it on the couch and on my bed often.. i sometimes carry it around when it is open (im very careful when i carry it ).. also i want to add that its not meant to be a very mobile laptop bcuz its a 7 pound beast with a 16 inch screen

1. well it lasts depending how good you take care of it so no problems

If you are blocking the vents so it can not stay cool when you are using on the couch and that,it will start overheating and when that happens your troubles will just keep coming,but if you look after it and do not spill anything on it,do not drop it then two or more years,until moving parts start wearing down.
4. Your laptop could last for many years as long as you take good care of it and have a check up from the computer professionals.

Generally laptops suffer from physical damage very often, its hard to tell how resistant is your going to be, but if you move it a lot at some point some cable or connector might get loose or break down, hard drive will get a bad sector etc. Its a really a question of how lucky you are as this stuff happens rather randomly, I would rather watch out while caring it around, it will fall eventually, but you might be using for years.
