Am I able to charge an HP Laptop computer in my European hotel room without damage?

This is a US laptop. Do I need a voltage converter to go from US 110 to European 220 or 240 or can I go right into the wall with an adapter on the end of my US plug?

1. If you have an HP approved adapter with a euro plug on it, which you should be able to get from the manufacturer's website, then yes, you can.
2. European electricity is the same as yours! But of course, you need the proper adaptor.
