I just bought an HP computer with Windows Vista Home Premium already installed. Can i install on another PC?

I am wondering if i can get a copy of the disc and put it onto my desktop computer and use the serial attatched to my HP laptop?

2. a serial is just good for one PC. you'll have to buy another copy for your 2nd PC
3. No you will not be able to do that. You would have to buy a copy.

5. you cannot use the same serial key as the laptop. but if you do you can crack it to make it legit. but why vista. if your desktop doesnt have a decent processor and at least 2 gigs of ram vista wont run very good. it will be really slow.
6. No you can't use the disc that came with your pc,as far as I know. It's basically a recovery cd that's included with pc's or new laptops. But if you have a Windows os cd, such as xp or vista,you can just install that in your lap.& the key on your lap might work.Depends if the key is for the exact same os.
