HP E Finance and Transfer credit?

I am planning to buy a HP laptop that is about 1,500. There is a sale going on and I could save up to 500 on the computer. The problem: I am waiting for my new credit card and the sales is over by tomorrow. So I am considering to apply for HP E Finance credit card. My question is, would I be able to transfer the HP credit card balance to my Wells Fargo, my main, credit card? Will applying for HP E fiance or transferring credit affect my credit score? I never paid late and the Wells Fargo visa is the only credit card I ever applied to. Thanks ahead for the response. PS: The laptop is the HDX 18t series. It has 2.66 ghz dual core, 4gb ddr3 memory with 1GB graphic card, a blu ray, 360 GB 7,200 rpm harddrive.
