How can I fix my HP computer microphone?

I have a HP laptop, and I use "Cyberlink YouCam". But every time I go to record a video on it, when I play it back the microphone makes distorted noises, and loud BLEEEEEEPs that continue throughout the video. This happens when I go on camera else where as well. How can I fix this?
