how do i download my hp printer to my computer?

i have a hp2280 printer and don't know how to doownload it to my computer

1. You don't download it but you do need to install the driver(s). Use this disc that came with the printer, or check the HP download site for a driver and save it on yur computer in a place you can find it later. Go to the control panel .>printers >add printer ....follow the prompts, if the driver is not already loaded, you will be prompted to have the computer search for the driver and/or to tell the program where the driver is located (Browse) Should work then, unless you have an older HP printer (HP1000 I know for sure) and are trying to install it on a Vista machine, there are no drivers for this scenario and HP no longer supports this machine.
2. you get a disc with it. you install it. there is nothing that you have to download. next to the disc you will have to buy usb cabel (it's not included) that you plug into the computer and the printer! start installing after you pluged the cabel in and everything will be ready to go...

Solution: 1.if your PC is connected to internet access or if you subscribe to internet access via wireless provider or local provider. google - the hp2280 printer driver from internet explorer or firefox browser and click download icon from your support website such as support.hp.com . 2. you can borrow drivers CD or USB devices that contain the mentioned driver and install into your PC. 3. Every HP Printers always have an installation CD for Windows or MAC PC's, please check if you can get one. Try now !!!!!! Bestman
4. just go to... hp.com...put in your printer hp2280..selcet what you want to find..Drivers...it will take you to the page of the Driver..click to download!!
