how do I parts for my broken computer?

I have an hp dv6500 that I need some parts for but don't know where to get them. I'm not talking about accessories but repair parts. My warranty expired but I know wat is wrong with it and would like to fix it myself but dont know where to start to get the parts.

2. Look for a computer supply store in your town that sells HP. Ask them who/where parts are available locally.
3. Go to your nearest TigerDirect, they sell all the parts you need... next time tell us what parts I could have given you the page you can buy it from.
