  1. Im using BitDefender at the moment, its the best protection i've ever had against viruses spyware and comes with a firewall which is even better. I think they were named #1 for the year too.. Oh and don't get Norton, I've had that and have had soooo many problems with it. You can get BitDefender here, its so worth it: http://pchelp.infosnax.com/virusremoval.htm Enjoy =)
  2. It looks like it has a excellent graphics card and very good video card ( Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT Video Memory 512MB (dedicated); up to 2558MB total available graphics memory) but I would choose a Toshiba: http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/laptops.to?category=Gaming%20Laptops and this is a excellent all around lap top as well. As for Internet Security I have used Norton for yrs. with no problems with virus, spyware, malware, just installed the latest version ( Norton Internet security 2009 ) and it is faster than previous versions. Hope this helps
  3. Hi, I also don't recommend free Anti-Virus protections. When you pay, you get values for your money. For the past 5 years I have been a McAfee Customer, and I have yet to be disappointed in their products. I once had Norton and it slowed down my computer so much. And it used to tell me I didn't have a virus when I actually did. It simply couldn't detect two trojan horses on my laptop. And when I switched to McAfee and scanned my computer, it detected the two Trojan Horses and removed them. McAfee Full Protection also tests website before you click on them. It tells you which site is harmful and which ones are harmless before you access them. McAfee is your best bet. In fact, I recently renewed my subscription for $79. Never download those free Virus protections. they aren't good, hence that's why they are free. Also, McAfee comes with a powerful firewall, and many more protections. Bottom-line: I highly recommend McAfee. Your choice of laptop is awesome. It is very powerful. All the best, and I wish you success in computing. :-)
