How to setup or install HP 4700n similar to 4700 HP color LaserJet Laser Jet printer?

Hi, I have a printer HP 4700n when I turn on I hear it working But there is NO SIGNAL of anything showing on the small LCD on top right corner! I've tried installing it using software downloaded on www.HP.com if you are familiar with HP 4700 the only difference is this is HP 4700n WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM??? I tried connecting different ways so ANOTHER IMPORTANT QUESTION is HOW SHOULD I CONNECT IT Ethernet 6 connection port connect directly to COMPUTER, or ethernet 6 connect Computer and printer through wired Router, Or USB Direct connection computer to Printer, or how?

1. No display means faulty printer ! Contact HP or seller for support and repair/replacement To install, if you have more than 1 PC, use netowkr port to a router. Set PC to a FIXED IP address in same range as your computers (Read supplied manual for exact menu operation to do so) Install driver as LOCAL PRINTER when asked for port, CREATE NEW PORT, TCP/IP port Give port IP address you gave printer Generic network card in printer Continue with drivers installation as per normal Repeat on each PC
