  1. First off that laptop is a beast! Second Idk how you can afford that right now (guess the recession hasn't hit everyone) That processor is a savage, 8gb of ram is overkill you only need 4gb but thats just my opinion!, honestly that video card is not that good compared to your other components. It runs crysis at a disappointing 18ish fps on high settings. I would suggest looking into the 9800m GS, GT, GTS, or GTX. The 9800m GT runs crysis at 32ish fps in high settings! Now before you go, this tearin' it up guys is a nut take a look for yourself! http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-130M.13789.0.html http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-9800M-GT.9906.0.html I would honestly get a better video card put in, but other than that this is honestly is very good machine! I'm just afraid it might eat you! :O Well enjoy that beast and keep her in good shape! :) *EDIT* You asked about the battery life, I would say about 2-2 1/2 hours without gaming and vista power saving option on, with gaming I would say about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Can't expect too much with those beast components! :D
