Can I get DISCOUNTS on Alienware and Dell laptops (from stores and not their official websites)?

I want to buy a laptop from either alienware or dell ...or even hp will work! I surfed on their websites and saw their MSRPs .. I feel it was pretty high and I want it to buy from a SALE .. Can their be discounts on these laptops?

1. HP tends to give a lot more bang for the buck than Dell. Alienware is not known for good laptops but for good desktops. I got my current HP for around $900 and the comparable Dell was $1200. My HP did have a discount. Just look on the site for the discounts. I have a nearly new laptop made by HP for sale at $699 plus shipping.
