My HP laptop keeps popping up new wndows after I close one out?

Hi. Lately my new HP laptop opens new windows after I close one out and it wont stop opening these windows until I restart it. It started out doing it with just the Myspace window but now it does it with almost every window I close and Im pretty sure its not a virus. Does anyone know why it does this and how I can prevent it? Thanks. Any suggestions welcome. :]

2. Contact HP , I have a brand new HP dvt5 and have already had to reinstall drivers for the mousepad and card reader. They will send you things to try.
