among kodak and sony digital cameras which one is better?

i would like to buy a digital camera but i am not able to decide among these two brands i.e. sony cybershot and kodak. which one of these is the better variety in all respects........please reply...

1. it really depends on what you want, if you want a camera just for fun with friends and family then get the sony 1, but if you want a camera for photography then get the kodak 1

3. I have owned both Sony and Kodak digital cameras. Both are good performers. Currently I am using a Kodak, but often use an older Sony for backup. I don't think you would be dissappointed with either selection.
