Looking to buy an HP Laptop... What model for me?

Hey guys, I found a used month old hp dv2310ca laptop. I want to use the laptop for basically high-school. Just for notes and internet surfing and maybe some movie/music. But is this model a "good" model to get? The guy said he bought it for $1600, may include warranty and accessories in that too though. HES SELLING IT FOR $500

2. u can get the hp dv5 for a lil more and its brand new y buy used? unless u rele dont have the money. my bro bought a dv5 in bronze u wont find them on the hp site cuz it seems to me they discontinued the bronze but u can still buy them best buy sams club etc. hps are the best when it comes to PCs email me if u need assistance tjc450@yahoo.com
