  1. Exactly another 692.7 HP, 709.3 lb/ft torque
  2. I've been a fan of Patriot heads since they've been available here. They have some superior castings for both standard sbc's and for the LT1. You're going to gain a good dose of low-lift flow with those Patriot heads, with the larger valves (versus the LT1's 1.94/1.50 valves). Chamber size on the stock heads is 56 cc's - I'm pretty positive on that, although I don't have specifics on the '95 castings, I don't think they changed them. So you'll lose a little compression - be sure to get the thinnest suitable head gaskets that you can. However, you won't lose significant horsepower with the drop in compression - the flow more than makes up for it. My uncalibrated desktop dyno and very educated mixed-breed dog both confirm that you'll probably gain somewhere in the ball park of 30-40 horsepower with these heads, depending upon the rest of your combination. While you're at it, consider tubular headers (I can personally recommend the BBK headers for the '95 - they fit mine beautifully) while you're committing to a cylinder head exchange, if you haven't already.
