my samsung ml 1610 laser printer smells bad when it works .does it normal?

my samsung ml 1610 lase rprinter is producing some kinda gas or smell bad when it was working...does it normal?P

2. No its not normal. Something is not working right. I suggest that you have it repaired before using it again.
3. Laser printers use a high voltage to charge the image drum so that it will attract the toner powder. If the interior of the printer becomes dirty, sometimes the high voltage will produce ozone which will produce an odd smell. This is not a problem, although a thorough cleaning of the interior will help. Attempt cleaning only if you are exceedingly careful and know what you are doing. Otherwise just put up with the odor or get someone knowledgeable to do the cleaning.
