Colour printing - cheaper to do with a printer or colour laser printer?

Hi I wish to print about 1500 colour sheets of paper. I have a colour laser printer, with individual colour toners (black, magenta, chan, etc.) and it prints well. Would it be cheaper to print in house or go to a firm to do? Each toner is about £75 quid? Help!

  1. For such a large quantity, you may consider asking for a proper company to print that. Each toner will print in between 400-500 pages, and a professional company will charge 100£ in total to print all of those sheets.
  2. I'd recomend you to get a firm do it in case you want the prints in bulk.. Because it saves the hazzles you'll need to take. And also note that it may cost you less from a firm.
  3. Cheapest way is to Use someone elses colour laser printer.
  4. i think it would be a lot cheaper to print it from a printing shop. and you can have it done by laser. it is less hassle in your part if you just pay someone to do it for you.
  5. If you started off with new cartridges (four @ £75 = £300 !) It would be cheaper to get that many leaflets done at a printers ! They would only charge around £100 !
  6. To do that serious amount of printing it would be cheaper and more cost effective to have it done at a printers. Not only that they will put them into the sized bundles you want, like 100's, 250's etc. And not knocking you in anyway, but they would do a more professional job, because that is what they get paid to do!
