Printer for Brochures & Photos?

I'm fed up with our stupid Oki 5400. Random print cycles, never prints exactly what I want it to. Misses pages and stops printing half way through depending on how it feels. It was at the company I work for way before I got here and I don't think it was looked after properly. So I'm trying to convince my boss to get a new printer for me only, as I am in charge of all the marketing and photography. My Needs: -GOOD quality print! -RELIABLE! Would like it to be an all in one with scanner/copier as well but if I am going to get more bang for buck without that then nevermind, BUT if it does scan I am scanning product photos and need them to be of good quality. And in a perfect world it would be cheap(ish) to run. I don't mind whether it is laser or inkjet. What can YOU suggest? Thanks in advance

  1. For making flyers etc I assume you're doing fairly substantial runs, in which case you'd be cheaper paying more for the machine and having a faster, more capable machine with lower per page costs. Try suggesting he lease a colour copier, somthing like the Konica Minolta Bizhub353, with a finisher attached it can not only do double sided A4 and A3 (on main machine) but the finisher allows stapling, and with a saddle stich option can fold and staple in the middle to make booklets.
