- Just to cover the bases here, make sure the paper tray paper size guides are properly set to the correct paper size that you're using. There are basically two things that can cause that problem if the paper tray is set correctly and paper loaded properly. 1) There is a piece of paper somewhere in the paper path that is causing the paper to be shifted slightly on one side (usually from a previous paper jam and as the paper was removed a small piece was torn off and left behind, or if labels are ever printed on a small piece may have come off and stuck on something inside). 2) The fuser assembly has a roller that is damaged or has something stuck on it that is causing a crease. If there is toner (print or image) down inside the crease area then the fuser is the most likely suspect. If there is no toner (print or image) down inside the crease area then the problem is occurring before the image is applied by the toner cartridge. Best of luck.
