I need a power supply for my hp pavilion desktop computer (see this picture http://www.mobiworld.biz/images/computer_parts.jpg). How much does it cost? Where can I get one?

- depends on where you buy it .. they can run from 50-150 dollars depending on the model
- I would buy mine off newegg, and they can range from like $20 to $500++. If I were you, I would aim for one in the $50 range. I'm assuming your computer is at least 2 or 3 years old and doesn't have a massive video card in it, so it shouldn't require too much power. I would suggest this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371005 I bought 2 of them for other computers I've built/upgraded, and they work awesome (quiet and energy efficient).
- You might also check Newegg for case and power supply combos, or also techbargains.com Sometimes the power supplies HP uses are not standard size, or are smaller and the standard size won't work. Finally, you might want to have someone else check your system, it may be something entirely different that may be broken. Motherboard, power switch, cpu come to mind. Good luck. Your link give the 404 error.
