Why won't my hp LaserJet 2550L printer print?

The printer was working fine the last time i used it but this time it didn't do a thing. Didn't make the warming up noise or anything. I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem but there is an orange light (not flashing just shining) on the top of it next to a yellow dot. It has a full supply of paper and everything. Anyone who can help me out would be the best. Thanks guys :-)

1. Your printer night not be working because; the plug might have slipped out, the cord might be snapped, you might have bumped it by accident and sort of broken it. you might have accidentally uninstalled it from your computer. Try some of those maybe! Hope i was some sort of a help to you!
2. Check to see if you need to add toner.
3. Try unplugging its' power lead and leaving it out for ten minutes or so. Then plug it back in. A mains power spike can sometimes confuse it.
4. Ok this may not help but try this Uninstall the printers software and drivers of your computer re-install them that may help if not check the ink in the printer and open up the top and blow the dirt out with a blow dryer or something. Ring the support line if it has one if non of this helps take it to a IT (computer) store ask them to have a look or just take it back to the store hope this helps. :)
