HP Photosmart C4180:When printing fotos with foto ink, do you need a supply of color in the other side aswel?

Ive bought the the proper photo ink 2 print some pics that is inserted where the black ink normally go's. I left the color ink in the other side and the printer has used the normal Hp343 color ink and the Hp 348 photo ink!!

1. from memory you need to install both color and photo cartridge as most printers use both to maximize reproduction, check your manual for a definite answer or check your printers website under support for general descriptions and applications on your product
