URGENT!!! HP C4385 - i've changed my wireless router/modem. how do i reconnect the printer?
recently, i've changed my wireless router and modem. however, my HP wireless printer, which was using some gateway or port for the old router/modem, has to be reconnected. how do i do this? do i have to redownload the installer (lost the disc) and re-run the setup? can i change something in the printer properties directly? i have other computers linked up to the printer too... p.s., im using windows xp

- Yeah do the reinstall
- I recommend you call 1-800-HP-INVENT and speak to technical support. This should be a very simple question for them to answer. Their call center analysts should have documentation on resetting the printer and to follow through with a re-installation. Also remember, when calling HP, if you are having difficulties understanding your support representative, you can asked to be transferred to a Canadian call center. HP has support centers in India, Canada, and United States. Unfortunately the U.S. support is primarily for contract business customers.
