How do I adjust the brightness in the output of a color laser printer? It's a Lexmark Optra SC-1275?

  1. Thats a good printer. You will need the correct drivers with the menu configuration . YOu should have a printer setup menu when you install the drivers for the Optra. Otherwise, you won't be able to set it as that printer is controlled mostly via menu driven software.
  2. What does the manual for your printer tell you to do? If you don't have the manual, you can download the .pdf file of it from the link below. On the left hand side of the page I suggest you start looking where it says Enhancing Print Quality > Print Quality Settings > Print Darkness. Hopefully, this will help you get it sorted.
  3. Go into your control panel then click on your printer & Faxes right click on your printer then click on properties then advanced you should find what you need in there
