I'm looking for a "not-so-fancy" printer that doesn't require me to spend a fortune on supplies (ink). Ideas?

1. try a dot matrix printer
2. hp 1200 series is good, good quality prints too.

If you just look at internet sites such as http://www.dabs.com or eBay and find a printer you like you can then purchase cheap ink (that's not made by the printer manufacturer) from many internet sites such as http://www.cartidgepeople.com Do a Google search t find other similar websites.
