Can someone help me with my new HP Laptop?

listlen i got the new hp laptop for chrismas and its working fine exept when i unplug it the batery runs out in less then 20 minutes. is it soppuse to do that or should i get another battery?

1. 20 mins is normal depending on what ur doing...like watching movies drains the battery fast than reading a pdf...ok
2. right click on the power icon on the taskbar > power options > change it from high performance
3. adjust your power settings.. click on the battery icon in by the time.. and adjust it to power saver, this makes your battery last MUCH longer
