I replaced the ram in my HP Pavilion laptop and now the screen won't come on when I start my computer. Why?
My computer is an HP Pavilion ZV6000. It came with 256 Ram and I needed to update it. I purchased 1 G and now that I have replaced it my computer screen won't come on when I start my computer. I took it out and put the 256 back in and the screen works again. Any ideas?

- Maybe you got the wrong ram, or something is wrong with the new ram.
- Your new RAM is the wrong type for your computer.
