  1. www.hp.com download drivers
  2. get techicnal support from hp
  3. i have the same laptop, i dont understand what you mean. i think you should check out the hp website and they may help you. or you could check your recycle bin on your laptop
  4. Go to the HP website and download the audio drivers for your laptop. Download the drivers to your desktop. Open your device manager - Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information>Hardware>Device Manager Once you're in the device manager find the audio driver there. If you have a Yellow Question Mark/Exclamation there - Make a note of what the Question Mark/Exclamation is - and remember because you will have to download the needed driver. (download from HP) Where there are Question Marks/Exclamation - Right Click on it and choose the option to "Uninstall" Reboot Go to your downloaded file and doubleclick to begin the installation Reboot again Driver is installed Go back to your device manager and make sure that there are no longer any more Question Marks/Exclamtions and SUCCESS!
  5. If you are using windows xp os, then its quite straight forward. Just go to Start > Control Panel > Add Hardware Choose from the list of hardware devices, or say add new hardware device. Windows will find your hardware and you can add drivers to the hardware from the cd provided and you are good to go.
