- i think hp's are good but sony is better
- Every person has a different preference. Me, I like HP better than toshiba. I work on computers and we have toshibas come in more often than HP needing work. You have to take care of it and not drop it and put it in a nice case. And if you are worried then get an extended warranty.
- For $600 an HP would be your best bet, they are very nice computer, much better than Toshiba.
- HP laptops are great. I've had mine for 4 years now, and no problems.
- I would have to say that HP is a very good brand of laptops, although it depends what you want out of your laptop. Broken easily? This depends on how you take care of the laptop
- All lap tops and computers can be broken if care not taken in use and handling. Install a very good Internet Security like Norton Internet Security2009 to keep from getting virus's, malware, spyware that can damage your operating system. I prefer Toshiba Satellite lap tops, I have two and they have been trouble free, one is about 7 yrs. old the other about 2 yrs. old. Hope this helps
- I have always liked HP. They have great customer support, and their computers are very reliable. My 9 year old HP has never crashed on me, even with Windows XP. In fact, I used it to answer this question. In fact, thinking back, I have never had a major problem with my HP laptop. It has lasted me through years of abuse, torture and neglect (the laptop, not me). I would buy an HP over a Sony or Dell laptop any day, if all you wanted to know is people opinions.
