- well the best thing to do is compare them base on the specs such how fast the cpu? how much ram does it have? how big the hard drive? does it have bluetooth? does it have N draft wireless card? what size of the screen? what Operating system does it come with? the key thing to look at really is warranty. They both offer 1 year warranty some has 3 years. But however Toshiba is better when it comes to warranty there's more authorized service centre compared to HP. Basically if you have an issue with Hp you have to send it out to them and it can take between 3-5 weeks of course it all depends on the availability of the parts if required. With Toshiba take it any authorized shop someone to talk to one one one rather then being on the phone. And it will be closer to your location. So if service is important to you I suggest Toshiba. Regardless if you go with HP or Toshiba they both offer quite similar specs. hope that helps
- go for the first answer. But to also help you out on buying a laptop. I think and recommend a MSI laptop. It's a 10inch laptop thats lightweight, uses xp, you can get 1gb or 2gb ram. I would go with 2gb ram. and cheap. Comes with mic and webcam. Built really good. Stable. Fast. But if you're looking for a bigger screen they also have that too for the MSI. check it out.
