What is the best color/photo printer for scrapbooking?

I want to print photos and scrapbook pages. I would like to ask for a printer this christmas and would love to hear all opinions and suggestions where I can research online too about printers. I am more concerned for quality and then price second.

If you are looking strictly for photoprinting, the HP PhotoSmart Printer is a good bet, as well as an excellent price.
I recommend the HP Photosmart, too. I have one and it prints excellent photos. They also make good printers, if you want to do a sheet of different photos. Epson is also a reputable brand, used by my graphics department at work. You definitely need to get a wide format printer, especially if you want to branch out into digi or hybrid scrapping. I have an HP Photosmart 8750 Inkjet Printer which is amazing. It's good on ink and the refills aren't horribly expensive. Just remember that when purchasing a printer, you get what you pay for!!!!
