Who supplies HP's Computer Chassis?

The Only reason I ask is I've purchased a HP M1170n and the case is bad but works great and I would like to replace the case. The case allows some accessory's that are not common to off the shelf cases. These accessory's are specific and there are several styles of HP cases that are configured differently but have the same features, any one of them will work but I need to find a source of supply so I can transfer the guts of my computer to a new case.

1. Honestly, there can be no real way to tell. They have used so many companies over the years that it.s almost impossible to know who made what. They basicaly had a design, and then took the lowest bidder to make that design. Even though a particular company made the case, it doesn't mean that it contains some of it's trademark features, unless HP saw fit to include it in their design. I you are having problems with that case, then you need to see a professional who can deal with it for you, because at this point, knowing who made the darn thing won't help you a bit. Hope this helps, and sorry I couldn't get you a more precise answer, but that's just how the comp industry works.
