- well, power supplys are nice because they are very easy to replace, and shouldn't (normally) hurt a warranty either, since i believe my father recently did that directly after purchasing a new pc a month ago, and they told him it wouldn't. go to http://www.newegg.com and pick one that is rated very well, and that is at least 500watt, i suggest 600+, but thats just me it really depends what your using your pc for.
- Power supplies for computer PCs are universal. Anyone should do. Take a look at Newegg.com. They go from as cheap as $20 to $150. Though, when it comes to Power Supplies I live and die by Antec Power Supplies. They just make real high quality products for great prices. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010320058%2050001516%20113142556&name=Antec
- I just replace my HP Pavilion m9400t's PS with an Antec 650 watt PS with no problem.
