Which digital camera's can compare to Sony Cybershot?

I'm looking at the Sony Cyvershot 8.1 megapixles but I've been told you can get the same qualities in a different camera at a better price. I've also been told you can only use Sony memory cards that only work for the camera that are more expensive than others. I'm just curious if this is true or not before I go shopping. 1. I have had four brands of digital cameras, kodak easyshare, sony cybershot, HP photosmart, ans casio exilim. I can tell you with confidence that the sony cybershot is the best camera I have owned. However the only other camera that can easily compete with the sony cybershot is the casio exilim. It is a beautiful sleek camera, that comes in different colors, takes extremely steady pictures and has like a million really cool modes, that the sony doesn't have. For example it has many different color modes, the most popular being the black and white and the sepia. And the coolest mode it has is the ebay mode for pictures, and youtube mode for recording. Video quality is great, except when you zoom a lot it get just a little blurry, the sound quality is exceptional though. The LCD screen is larger than the sony cybershot, however the colors in the LCD are not as bright and vivid as the ones in the sony camera. But the coolest thing about this camera aside from how pretty it is and the great pictures, is all the different modes you can set the camera on. It even has an easy mode where it gives you an easy menu. Its amazing. Oh and one more thing is that I have never seen a more lasting battery life than that of the casio exilim. The HP photosmart is also an exceptional camera, I really enjoye having this camera and the best thing is the price. It's a lot more camera than what you pay for. And it comes with a really cool docking station and two ion batteries. I highly recommend this camera, it is really cool to have, and the pictures are also amazing. The LCD screen is huge, and this camera is very stylish and extremely easy to use, with large comfortable buttons, I fell in love with it. If you are looking for an alternative to a sony cybershot, the HP photosmart with 8.2 MP, and the casio exilim, are best choices, especially the casio exilim (it's my personal favorite).
