What is the most profitable way to recycle ink cartridges?

Staples, Office Depot give $3 in store credit for HP, Lexmark, Dell ink cartridges. I have very little use of Office Depot supplies, so I wanted to know if somebody pays more for these? Or, who pays cash for ink cartridges?
