  1. I would pick a different brand. Remember you do get what you pay for generally with computers.
  2. I used to work for Hewlett Packard, and now I do PC Repair. Let me tell you, avoid this company. From experience, I know that not only do they have some of the worst customer service you will ever encounter, their laptops are complete garbage. They have more motherboard failures in a shorter time frame than any other brand I've seen. Even the Acers tend to last longer, and they're pretty low end. Stick with Toshiba, Lenovo, Sony, even Dell laptops last longer than the HP's.
  3. HP laptops are great!!! They are really better with desktops but I am using a HP right now. I think they are the same with Dell but Dell is better with laptops. All in all, HP is is great for alot of things, I would keep the laptop. Oh, and yes, HP computers are very cheap because they are a new company and need to make money. Again keep that laptop and have fun with it. =)
  4. They are still great computers. I've had, two and no problems with either of them.
  5. I am so biased . I love ♥ my HP laptop/tablet. It has touch screen, voice recognition and fingerprint recognition. I have multiple sclerosis and love tapping my fingernail on the screen to do things. When vista gets stupid and won't let me in, I just run my finger over the scanner and VOILA jump past windows and I am logged on. This year's model is the tx2000z and it looks nice, too.
  6. I've had two HP laptops and both died within two years of purchase. My last laptop was a Toshiba and I've had it three 1/2 years and counting. it's GREAT! I would never waste money on an HP again because it costs more in the long run. I also prefer the toshiba customer service better too.
  7. bargain! i hate hp! go toshiba!
