Out of the major brands, what store bought computer will run World of Warcraft? (Dell,HP, etc)?

  1. Pretty much anything. WoW isnt very hardware intensive. make sure you buy A newer model. The parts you should look for are Processor, the more expensive the better. RAM, the more the better. and Graphics card, the more expensive the better I have a dell vostro 400, which runs Wow at 100 FPS. Now if only I could overcome server lag.
  2. Any PC that meets WOW minimum hardware requirements will work. But, like most games, the more "horsepower" the better. Get the hardware requirements from the WOW website.
  3. My opinion,... Get a Gateway or a Toshiba. They are very dependable machines, and when you go to Best Buy or the like, which I usually advise against, you actually get a really good deal. I didnt get the extended service contract on mine, because personally I think its a waste of money since the manufacturer gives you an automatic 1 year warrenty from point of sale. If it doesnt break down within the first year, you probably dont have a lemon.
