Brother Laser printer HL 5140 has only red status light. What's wrong?

It doesn't say toner, paper or drum. Just replaced the toner. I'm using with a Mac.

1. Try unplugging it and turning it off for 5 minutes, then reconnecting it to your system. Sometimes, if the paper in the tray is not fully seated and tapped back, you can get an error or non-functioning printer and it looks like a weird error when it's really just the paper tray. Sorry I'm not familiar with your exact printer, but I've worked with many makes of laser printers over the years.
