  1. Hp and Packard bell are both cut rate corporate hack jobs. Out of those two the second one is a bit better.
  2. Get the HP. You might need to to replace or upgrade the graphics card depending upon your needs.
  3. PACKARD BELL IM2415 will be better than other one
  4. PACKARD BELL IM2415 is a bit better, but the graphics card on the hp is better.
  5. Well just off hand the Intel Core 2 Quad chip is much better then the phenom chip. I know it only comes with 3gb of RAM, but RAM is so cheap these days would not cost much to upgrade. Unfortunately both graphics cards are not worth much and you would have to upgrade if you want to play any real games. HP does have good customer support, so not sure how to rate Packard Bell (their still in business??)
  6. HP? Well, it's better than PB, which is really just Acer. Those machines cut even more corners. HP: Much slower CPU. Faster graphics, but still not fantastic. Has 4GB of RAM for dual channel PB: Faster CPU Cheaper Integrated graphics that will not play recent games, but are fine for graphics chores. Can be upgraded, though. won't be dual-channel, because RAM modules are mismatched Um... it's really a tossup. See which looks like it's built better, and see if you can't find an picture of each with their case popped. I know my HP was actually okay, with an Asustek motherboard and many Foxconn parts, but some models won't be as nice. Same with PB/Acer... hard to know what you're really getting.
  7. hp one has much better graphic card and more RAM if you play games you should buy hp or think about another brand.. amd's cpus are cheaper if Hp's cpu was intel it would be more than $400
  8. it is generally agreed by me and other graphic designers/gamers that amd systems r the better choice for our specific needs don't get me wrong I aint saying p4's and all the variations r crap however u r going in the wrong direction me reckons av a look at the "pc speciaiist & mesh" websites" at pc specialist u can build ur own system minus keyboard/monitor/mouse & & if u already av them u then get a quote with any comments they make u then decide 2 buy or not 2 buy with mesh they av all in one packages for all types of pc users av a look c
