Has anyone tried HP's "Pocket Media Drive"?

I have a HP Elite series desktop. It has two bays used for their proprietary media drives.I like the fact that you just slide them in with no wires or clutter on your desk.Also...they are designed to work with HP's recovery manager for easy backups or media storage. What are the differences between the two,and how do they work? This is my desktop: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=3550131&sku=H25-2104&srkey=HP%20Pavilion%20Elite%20m9150f%20desktop And the Pocket drive: http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/computer/categories/storage_solutions/1/accessories/FJ460AA%2523ABA

  1. The HP media pocket drives are just standard USB hard disks. Infact if you look inside the bay, you'll see a standard USB (mini) connector. Nothing special about them at all compared to any ordinary external hard disk.
