can i take my HP nx9420 laptop to a computer store and ask them to overclock it...if so whats the price!?

please help! i want to overclock it so i wont get so mutch lag when im gaming!

1. No. You cannot overclock your computer. For starters, it's a laptop and laptops cannot really be overclocked. Secondly, computer manufacturers don't have motherboards that support overclocking. Secondly, your computer is fairly old. It's likely lagging in gaming because it's just slow and outdated. You'd be much better off just getting a new machine.
