1. Why does it have to be a Dell? My personal opinion on Dell printers is that they always manage to stick you. The consumables are too expensive. For printers there are a dozen companies I would consider before Dell. (unlike their computers which I think are the best bang for the buck) Now if all you want is black text, you can get an HP laser for $50. If you want color, you can get a Samsung CLP-315 for $150. All 4 toner cartridges can be replaced for under $100. If you want really good color and high volume, you can get a heavy-duty Ricoh CL-1000N for under $300. Each toner cartridge can be refilled for $50 and yields 10,000 pages. I own all the printers I mentioned and they're all well worth the price.
