How do I install my Dell 1700 laser printer when I keep getting an error?

Normally plug & play (install) works great. On every attempt to install this printer, through a network or just directly to my tower, I receive the error: The file 'DKAAP2P1.XML' on Dell Windows 2000/XP Driver Disk or CD is needed. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers & firmware updates from dell.com So any help here would be appreciated. Thanks!
