That build should do you just fine for main stream gaming. Though you may still have to cut back some settings on high end games. I would point towards a 7200RPM Hard Drive and even up the pixel count to a WSXGA. Then as soon as you get the notebook, remove are the bloat-ware they preload on the machine.
