2. try ebay, advanced search, sort by price, lowest first. search 'toner cartridge' or hp toner etc to see what brand has the lowest price toner available and get that model new or used, I was able to run an HP on reloaded cartridges for next to nothing and it ran for years
3. I would recommend any HP laser printer. I work in IT and all I recommend to my clients is HP or Lexmark laser printers. HP toner is one of the cheapest toners out there in terms of price. And Lexmark's are cheap in price but the toner does cost a little more than an HP toner cartage but lasts a little longer.
