Hi I ordered this laptop from Best Buy's website. I bought this laptop because of the sale price it had with all the features it has. I can't find this laptop on HP's website and I wanted some extra information about it. So if you can find a website with this info please leave a link. Thanks. 2. youve made the worse decision of your entire life, come on dude HP is Compaq's sister!, Compaq is like the ford Taurus of computers. Its all about Dell, they have the best support and best warranties.
3. type in "HP Pavilion dv2988nr system specifications" into yahoo or google and you will get a list of sites that will have in depth info about your laptop.
4. Call HP at 1 (888) 999-4747 Register your computer with them get all available updates. I had no problem looking it up on hp sight. It is called an: HP Pavilion dv2988nr Entertainment Notebook PC. All the info is there including updates, manuals etc. I don't know why you could not find it.
