Epson 440 Color Printer started printing numbers & symbols & I can't figure out what to do.?

I have been printing numerous pages of an Internet document without trouble; this may have caused the problem. Now what can I do to fix it?

1. Update or reinstall your printer driver.
2. Try shutting down and restarting your whole system. You may need to go to the Epson web site, download and install the latest driver for you printer.
3. 1. purge/cancel all print job, 2. power off pc and printer 3. reboot then you re done
4. neither can I.
