how do you clean a samsung ml-2010 mono laser printer?

I get really bad streaks on on paper from my printer, any suggesstions? much apreciated, Peter

1. Hiya, Try using the tools provided on the software package. You should get cleaning tools which does it automatically. If not, open the laser printer, wipe clean any affected areas, and try to print. Thanks, Calvin's Network Web Host
2. DId you have a toner leak? Streaks, if they are on the print side is normally the toner cartirdge. HOwever if you have streaks on the back from and every other part of the page you just need to collect the excess. I usually do this by "printing" blank pages. Just open a blank word doc and hit print, do it as many times as you need until the papers comes through clean. If by about 40-50 you see no improvement you may need to have the printer serviced.
3. It could be the cartridge itself. If the streaks are on the front there is a problem with the cartridge drum. If the cartridge is a remanufactured one take it back. If it is on the back of the page use compressed air to blow out your printer but do it outside it will get messy. Also if you need to wipe anything down use a lint free - cloth.
