I bought a Samsung laser printer from Office depot on line,?

it doesn't have toners. I want to order so I contacted them to find out what item #s are. they gave me item # for magenta/Cyan/yellow. I asked for black. they said they don't have it. and they said: may be the printer makes black by other colors! well, I've never heard that. I searched their web site, they don't have the black. but, I found the black in samsung online store. I have to order all from officedepot. how should I do that? is that possible the black color is made out of other colors? how come there is a space for black cartridige in the printer? thanks. It is CLP-315 model. on the cartiridges there are weird numbers like another language? and there is a label that says: CLT-409 series.

1. If you just have colored ink that will still make black, blue yellow and red blend to make black. thats how laser printers work and they last a long time..
2. I would just get the numbers for the black toner from the Samsung website. Then give the local Office Depot a call and say I need to get this toner cartridge and just give them the numbers, Then if they don't have it I would start checking other stores and local office supply stores. If that is not a feasible option, I would suggest seeing if since they do not offer that cartridge you need and you have to buy from them seeing if they will exchange it for a comparable printer that they can provide you with both black and color toners for. If they will not do that, Then I would suggest selling that printer and ordering a comparable one from Office Depot and make sure they have the toner for both black and color in stock and ready for you to order before you purchase your new printer.
